Alan Shain: The Colleen Story
Alan Shain tells stories that are both personal and traditional. He is a master at shaping his material so that listeners cannot help but enter into the worlds his stories bring vividly to life. A blend of traditional folktales and personal stories about the lived experience of disability, Alan’s storytelling evokes laughter, joy, and personal discovery.

The Colleen Story examines the hilarious yet poignantly human situation of two physically disabled people bringing their bodies together for a night of technically challenging, although highly erotic, first sex.
